@inertia no, but they do end with a severe need for programming in c instead of py (for uni)... i wannnaaa make my own window manager sooo bad (instead of studying)

@inertia i have an always growing list of what i wanna make:
(the order might be a bit wrong)
- a window manager (x11)
- learn opengl
- learn vulkan
- learn rust
- do more random stuff in zig
- look into wgpu
- make a voxel engine (vulkan hopefully)
- look into os dev
- make a hopefully bootable os for rpi
- look into go lang
- make a decentralized messaging/board-like platform (in go)
- make my own calendar + notes app hopefully embedded into the window manager (rust+tauri?)

- finish the many Minecraft utility (hacks) i started (or start a new one..)

@inertia 0 use????? wdymm, making a window manager is such a productive and BASED thing. My main objectives would be, learning the X11 API, some features from gnome which i haven't seen in any wm's and WIDGETS for my (calendar and notes + maybe more) apps. i want to have them very integrated into the WM

@inertia i love gamedev too, but sometimes i just wanna make apps. I also have an obsession with cheap hardware, i got a few rpis, and recently got myself a refurbished lenovo thinkcenter tiny (i5 7th) for 100euro, SOO CHEAPPP, and soo good for servers, it needs soo little power 🤩
