🚄 What if you could travel through the EU for a month for free?
This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Single Market, which allows us to enjoy free movement of goods, capital, services and people across the #EU.
That’s why we are giving away 10 prizes of two rail passes to explore Europe’s rich cultural heritage for a month.
“Hungary’s largest bookseller has started wrapping books that feature LGBTQ+ characters in plastic to prevent customers from opening them in stores after it was taken over by a private foundation with close ties to Viktor Orbán.

Two years ago, the government passed a widely criticised law banning … the promotion and display of homosexuality and gender reassignment”
Today is the day for the #EuropeanParliament to pass the #RestoreNature law. This is vital for the protection of #biodiversity, #climate and our ability to live and feed ourselves on this planet. This law is good for #farming and farmers. No nature, no pollinators, no farming.
Unfortunately this piece of legislation is under attack by the far-right, center-right (EPP) and liberals. You still have a couple of hours to pest your MEPs about it.

> #PFAS are toxic and virtually indestructible chemicals used in a wide range of objects, from anti-stick pans to medical implants. 'Le Monde' has uncovered the existence of thousands of contaminated sites.
Maybe someone should create a web site where we list which EU countries carry out racial profiling and publish the experiences of people who have been racially profiled at EU borders. 🤔
Maybe we can use the fediverse to gather those experiences…
Here, I’ll start:
I was racially profiled by Belgian border police two weeks ago at Brussels Airport.
If you’re in the #EU, they’re trying to pass a law that will ban #OpenSource operating systems including #Linux and #BSD. Since there are a lot of #FOSS users from #Europe on the fediverse, this bill should concern you.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! Just wanted to say good morning and remind you that #EU is not just a union of states and markets, but also a union of people. This is your daily reminder that you have millions of friends and allies in the EU. We are citizens of #Europe. Hope you all have a beautiful day! #goodmorning#PeoplesVote#RejoinEU#FBPE
