Israel wants to obliterate Gaza to deter Iran, Hezbollah, says Dutch memo
Israel is deliberately using “disproportionate force” in Gaza and targeting “civilian infrastructure” in an effort to limit its own losses and showcase its “military force,” according to a confidential memo from the Dutch Embassy in Tel Aviv.
The worst part of all is that you won't find any serious sources (at least in #Spain) talking about it and addressing the problem. This self-damaging provincial attitude will cost us dearly.

Charles Synyard“Pro-Russian politician” Roberto Fico “wins Slovakia’s parliamentary election”. CNN. https://archive.ph/7zDfy While I feel like shaking my fist at Slovaks, calling them cretins for not returning L’SNS or Republika to the legislature, a win is a win, and I am pleased that Fico and friends have enough seats to form a government, if HLAS doesn’t betray and support the pro-EU, pro-Sodom left during negotiations. Like in the United States, revealing to see how contradictions in “democracy” are handled. What happens when electors do not heed the narrative, choose parties with illiberal planks? See this rationalization:
”The campaign was marked by concerns over disinformation, with Věra Jourová, the European Commission’s top digital affairs official, saying in advance the vote would be a ‘test case’ of how effective social media companies have been in countering Russian propaganda in Slovakia.”
The Smer victory is not really legitimate, because it came about through Russian propaganda. Heavy censorship, not unabridged discourse, is the guarantor of legitimate elections. Such is the eurocrat worldview. I haven’t seen any speculation that President Čaputova would refuse to allow the “wrong” winner to form a government, but I think we should start worrying. Will Slovakia follow the Ukraine, Moldova, and Greece in dismissing and criminalizingbthe opposition? With (((journalism))) like this, I fear it. #CNN#SlovakElection2023#RobertoFico#Smer#HLAS#Republika#LSNS#censorship#ProRussia#SlovakElection#Slovakia#Europe A150D7EC-F740-4A0C-BEC9-B650F5ACBA7F.jpeg
France seeks stronger EU stance on fossil fuel exit at COP28
The EU should publicly set out dates by which planet-warming oil, gas and coal should be phased out, in a bid to push for a global deal on eliminating fossil fuels at the upcoming COP28 UN climate summit, France has said.
The Netherlands is one of the smallest countries in Europe, but also one of its biggest food producers and exporters, thanks to a wildly successful intensive agriculture sector.
With the highest density of livestock in Europe, the Netherlands has been in the throes of a years-long crisis over nitrogen emissions from manure, which ecologists say are destroying the country’s ecosystems.
🚄 What if you could travel through the EU for a month for free?
This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Single Market, which allows us to enjoy free movement of goods, capital, services and people across the #EU.
That’s why we are giving away 10 prizes of two rail passes to explore Europe’s rich cultural heritage for a month.
“Hungary’s largest bookseller has started wrapping books that feature LGBTQ+ characters in plastic to prevent customers from opening them in stores after it was taken over by a private foundation with close ties to Viktor Orbán.

Today is the day for the #EuropeanParliament to pass the #RestoreNature law. This is vital for the protection of #biodiversity, #climate and our ability to live and feed ourselves on this planet. This law is good for #farming and farmers. No nature, no pollinators, no farming.
Unfortunately this piece of legislation is under attack by the far-right, center-right (EPP) and liberals. You still have a couple of hours to pest your MEPs about it.
