Today is the day when nothing works.
076's Invidious broken, I2Pd on my Artix PC broken (although I fixed it by simply rebooting it, or well fixed for only a few minutes, and then it worked again), I2Pd on my FreeBullShiD server broken (and in this case a reboot didn't fix it), I2Pd on my OpenBaSeD server broken........
Only stable on my Artix laptop and Devuan server. -

Almost nobody ever does that.
They complain about JewTube and announce they leave for a different platform, but never actually leave "because everyone is on JewTube".
Meanwhile, JewTubers won't leave because "all the content is on JewTube".
And I'm not surprised at all, alt tech all censor, if not now, they'll do later when they're "a REAL platform" (aka, as soon as investors start coming in).
Meanwhile, every alternative platform hosts all the content JewTube also hosts, because they use JewTube to mirror to everywhere else, meanwhile lots of JewTube content is not hosted elsewhere.
So if you have to be put up with less content, less people, you get little to no money on alt tech while you do on JewTube, and with censorship too on top of that, then what's the point of switching platforms?
So in a way I'm not surprised almost nobody wants to turn their words into action. -

One month later: refuses to leave platform and gets spammed by comments asking why he refuses to leave even though he said he'll leave 1 month ago.
Half year later: still refuses to leave, gives "muh wider audience" and/or "muh ad revenue" as the excuse.
Almost every single JewTuber announcing he'll leave the platform "as soon as possible" because he doesn't like something. -

How the fuck is the CCP spying on Americans anything worse from CIA/NSA/FBI spying on Americans!?
All the CCP can do is take a big bucket of popcorn and enjoy the show, whereas the CIA/NSA/FBI can actually get at your doorstep, and herASS you, kidnap you, or something else.
So it's really not worth worrying at all. -

People talk about that "Chinese spy balloon" thing so much, I just took a look just to see what they're all talking about, because at first I thought it was just some internet meme.
Based on my 30 second long research, I see it's yet another distraction psyop, not worth anybody's time at all.
If it were real:
1. How would they be able to accurately steer it to the opposite side of a massive ocean?
2. If it got across the ocean, how does it still float?
3. What's even the point of spying on random places and random people they (legally speaking) have no juristiction over?
4. Why would they worry about what Americans are doing if they are already occupied enough with what Chinese people are doing, which they can actually control (again, legally speaking)? -

When people are blocking Javascript, big tech generally replaces their spying using a 1x1 frame or 1x1 image, usually wrapped inside of the "noscript" tags to prevent redundant data they collect.
This is actually a pretty big problem, because blocking frames and/or images does even more harm than good often times.
On the other hand, blocking noscript will render legit use cases of it useless, like submitting a form by selecting something in a pulldown menu with JS enabled, or showing a submit button with JS disabled for example.
The common sense of dealing with it is to block all off-domain (3rd party) requests, though in some cases I'd opt for 2nd party blocking (so everything hosted on subdomains of that same site) as well, but either way will break way too many websoytes because they're generally made by idiots who don't know how to code properly.
Or just fuck it all, and start using Tor and I2P for everything apart from Fedi, and view clearnet content from condoms like Invidious, Nitter, LibREEEddit, GobHub, AnonymousStackOverflow, and Rimgo.
Because let's be real, there's almost nothing left on the clearnet that's not either big tech (Cuckflare and Fastly counts as big tech by the way), or Fediverse, or Gitea instances. -
