@GabeLakmann @nugger It’s in a weird spot. I handle the low end piston market most of the time, but there’s a giant chasm in price between a capable jet and a turboprop. There are some “affordable’ VLJs but they aren’t popular, and even end up more embarrassing than a king air when the owner wants to be taken seriously.
Most of the time the only guys buying are extreme boomers, so they’re slow to change their purchases over time. That’s this delivery, dude paid a lot of money for a late model Baron without realizing he coudl just as easily dropped about the same amount of money on an older turboprop Mooney. Very diff. mechanics, yeah, but I doubt he’ll be maintaining it himself. Businesses are also in a weird funk, lots overbought in 2020-21 because airline travel sucked so bad. I foresee some cheap gulfstreams on the way when they have to downsize again
