@izaya Ha, I did something like that, I assigned a key combination to a script that pulls a URL from the clipboard, prompts with dmenu, runs youtube-dl (which, so I didn't have to change any code, is now a symlink to yt-dlp), dumps the video in /tmp, plays it in the corner of the screen, then deletes it.
