The pages and pages of dense philosophical essays and poorly organized FAQs do not provide a useful entry point or reference for the community.I agree, as much as I truly love the classic essays and FAQs these things can be done in a much more modern way. I think especially on the audiovisual front the FSF is quite lacking in that regard. Shortform video rains supreme nowadays.
I like that they've made attempts with the "Fight for Repair" and "Rewind" animated videos, but honestly I find them rather cringe by making them action oriented.
I think the very professional looking videos produced by the FSFE, such as "Public Money, Public Code" and "What is Free Software?" are much better promotion material. Both the FSF and FSFE should make more videos like these.
