No argument here, especially with synthetic fluids and whatnot. But it started off as "we can save $ by not equipping cars with dipsticks". Friend's hemi still has a dipstick tube, consumers got a plastic plug. Dealers were still topping up transmissions before their scheduled service intervals.

Nice. GM's TH400 found it's way into Jeeps, Jaguars, Roll Royces, Ferraris, and even Humvees. Glad to see Mopar landed that role. Government Motors died when Obama worked his magic.
