The thing about working at Xbox is there's only about 150 actual Microsoft employees total, and they're mostly executives. Everyone else is contractors. I myself was a subcontractor, but I had a Microsoft badge, using Microsoft equipment, inside a Microsoft facility.
Besides the bulk of autists slaving away, the leadership was all H1B pajeets who gave zero fucks about QA or the insane work schedules.
When you're on a development project, you're working 70-80 hours a week. But you're forced to wait like 90 days between projects, so you're hours go to 0. Then, you can only be on call for game testing in between projects, where you have to call in every morning at 6am to see if they even need you each day. And when you and the other 200 people arrive, they only have slots for 150. Every fucking morning for 3 months until another crunchtime hell project becomes available.
