You won’t learn anything without the experience, without real history and feeling behind the philosophy. Better off working a construction gig and talking to down-on-their-luck people, or volunteering at the firehouse and playing ride-along in order to see real human suffering with your own eyes.
Instead, they’ll read a bood, feel good about how erudite and classy they are, and….forget all of it a year later.
