@madison aquariums are the best for kids. i honestly prefer them as opposed to caged rodents. i had a hamster as a kid that I got bored with after a month and rarely took him out of the cage. it made me feel terrible. fish on the other hand aren’t really pets, just glorified decorations. and i wouldnt have to feel bad about not engaging with them because there really isn’t any way to do that except feeding and looking at them lol
