My other hand, however, failed to hold onto the neoprene sleeve wrapped around my PowerBook G4 when I slipped on a patch of ice during a bitterly cold mid-2000s Pennsylvania winter. My tailbone eventually healed from the fall; the TiBook’s flimsy aluminum hinges did not.
So yeah, stuff happens. Good luck with the repair.
