:meru_B: b e a r d@matana parents being fuck ups does not really excuse their kids being free loaders without any real sense of independence or responsibility. I have a friend that went through med school and for most of that time he did live with his parents so he would have money to actually do that without killing himself. That's something I can respect.
I think kids should separate from their parents as soon as feasibly possible because it helps them become their own person and it gives people a real reason to exist beyond just becoming a blob with no direction in life.
I get that it's hard these days to actually move out because of older generations screwing shit, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to become independent to the best of your ability.
