you could learn something like vue.js to consume the content but that take a lot of work, it's not as hard imo to just do a fetch request for the json document and then yeah use javascript to iterate over the json and directly write html into the page. but you need to be really careful to cleanse/escape that fucking data or someone will exploit your front page with arbitrary code
