True, I only own one mechanical watch and have only had it for about a year without having any real issues with it so I just wondered if some were more sensitive than others or if it is just certain occupations or situations that have strong enough magnetic fields to affect them.

Makes sense that pilots would affected somewhat and it would be nice if electronics and wiring was better shielded than it is.

I worry about the future when WiFi, etc. has been around long enough to start seeing if there are any detrimental long term effects because I think we will see it eventually. I just hope it isn't bad but we'll know when the cancer rates change.
