     @JedKron1248 @CompoundFraxure From what I recall, Signal was made by Dorsey, in the states, and has been the go-to app of choice for all the us-benefitting color revolutions.

     Durov of telegram talked about how members of his staff were frequently approached with bribes to install backdoors for glownigs, and when he came to the states he was intercepted and given a talking-to by some FBI faggots demanding the same. AFAIK it’s probably the best option we have, but it’s by no means secure in any means, it likely just has one minor level of inconvenience in order for someone other than Ivan & the chongs to snoop on you

     @RetardedServantOfChrist For us, it’s been excellent seeing the parent’s generation get on there after 2020. They came in for wu flu and election posts, and over time they end up supping from the telegram trough and slowly ‘get redpilled’ just like any kid in 2014

     @doublecart @JedKron1248 @CompoundFraxure The value of telegram isn’t the private messaging, so much as a friendly distribution system for our own propaganda. I’ve seen normies cotton to the jews since 2020 all because they got shoved onto the platform and followed the right combination of channels. That alone is worth gold.

     I’d expect anyone requiring secure comms to… is it still cool to use TAILS? I haven’t had to use that crap in years

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @JedKron1248 @CompoundFraxure If you need private messaging, sure. I only wish non-pm users realized the privacy concerns and made proxies for telegram channels like nitter for twitter, as opposed to install some potentially backdoored client on your device.
     
     For me, I don't need pms in a place without familiars. Poast serves my need to evaluating takes well, so I'll stick to it than hand my phone and identity to Durov.

     @CompoundFraxure @JedKron1248 IDK how it is today, but for years they used to have plenty of burner phones in every tech dept. clearance aisle. I think the most I ever paid for one was $7, w/ the first few months of service included in a clamshell. Probably gone now though

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @JedKron1248 I'd still argue that from a purely technical standpoint, Signal has a slight edge since their protocol and apps are open source, whereas Telegram's aren't. They're both ultimately still centralized services that require your phone number to sign up, though.
     
     I really only use Signal for messaging normie friends though, especially since it can be used to send SMS as well (for now, at least) and it's the easiest way to switch normies away from SMS (which is by far worse than everything else). And because I already registered my real phone number with my real name on Telegram and I don't want to buy a burner phone number.
