It's very weird to actually have women start to come on to us, you don't even realize it.
You'll tell someone "it's crazy, she insisted I walk her out to her car, and I'm like, nobody's here. Then the whole way she was trying to grab onto my shoulders because it's cold and I'm like WTF lady it's 78º out here"

I could see how it works with the right signals though, and in years past the topic wouldn't have carried so much baggage. Hell, I remember asking girls what color their nipples were once upon a time, was supposed to be a silly joke topic, now it's napalm for my career
BUT I always had a weird style of flirting, I tended to be hands-off and ambivalent, let them come to me, because it was rare to actually be smitten with a girl. Made me a little nervous to actively court someone when I had to do it again and worry about whiffing it

My wife and I ended up getting together due to me doing something similar. I jokingly would say to her “Hey, you know what would be funny?!? If we both, just, as a joke, platonically, just, for fun, sent nudes.” I said this a couple times, and for the most part I was joking. At the end of one of our conversations she went “Let’s do it” and I was taken aback I didn’t even know what she was referring to, like, it couldn’t have been send nudes. So, I go “Do what?” and she then replied “Send nudes” and then, like. I had to commit at that point.
We’ve now been Happily married for 6 years.

I always imagined myself as a nerdy outcast but then I'd wrangle girls who'd tell me they were scared of ME because I was cool and popular in my niche, just because I was outgoing and could hang out w/ anybody.
In high school I thought girls only liked reedy, slender, 26" waist gayboys and it took years to realize that I had some strengths to work with. I literally thought that having a strong chin was ugly because I hated seeing it on women. I thought having broad shoulders was a bad thing.
It's wild how dumb I was back then. We just got to lean into whatever features we got, girls will convince themselves to like it if we're cool enough

Our cheers were not even that popular, had chunky girls and uggos, so they were more like a clique w/ the football guys. But one new girl moved in, all pretty and blonde and "popular" in theory but she hang out with the weird anime kids and fats. Got married to a 28 year old guy like a year after graduation, weird chick

I was a little pissed he apparently assumed I was one of the armed yankees because he was really writing some violent checks I could NOT cash.
I'd like to never again go to Brazil, sorry to say it's my least favorite of the south american lands. Generally better than the equatorial ones, though, but not my fave.
