The new world stopped having culture in the 60s. It has pop culture and pop culture alone ever since. Well, it popped. Because of atheism LONG before diversity and feminism. This, nigs and women, are just the final nail in the coffin.
Its time for American pop culture to just die already.
Just die. Ffs. Die.

They made worthless art based on OTHER franchises, a combined blend of every piece of media they admire - but not real life, because they have nothing to draw on.
Old authors had a naval stint under their belt when they wrote about spacefaring, western writers worked the farm and camped out on the range blasting rattlesnakes when they snuck into their tent at night.
Now, writers are just suburban kids who've worked a single job after a 7-year effort to obtain a 4-year degree in "English"

The Green Thunderbolt (thegreenthunderbolt@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 18-Apr-2024 02:16:20 JST The Green Thunderbolt @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta @WashedOutGundamPilot tv / movie writing is garbage now because writers don't take their inspiration / ideas / structures from actual books as the previous generations did but from tv / movies. That is why they come off as 5th grade knockoff of some forgotten tv series from 2005. Not reading actual books has consequences for all levels of society. Kenny Blankenship repeated this. -
Judge Dread (judgedread@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 18-Apr-2024 02:25:38 JST Judge Dread @TheGreenThunderbolt I'd go further. Take a hack like L. Ron Hubbard. As big a liar and phony as he was he did command a small ship during WWII. Sure, it was a total fiasco where he wasted depth charges on a magnetic reading he mistook for a submarine, but he was at sea in the chain of command and had some life experience. He could apply all that to his famous hack writing. The writer of today has had a totally insulated life going from public to higher education with at most some shitty minimum wage jobs to broaden their mind. And of course consuming the low quality writing, cinema and television produced by the last two generations of rootless feckless nobodies.
Needless to say very few Gulf War or Desert Storm vets are directing or writing movies or television shows.Kenny Blankenship likes this. -
Clayton Barnett (machciv@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 18-Apr-2024 07:56:59 JST Clayton Barnett @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta @WashedOutGundamPilot I realized very early on that no agent would touch me and certainly no mainstream publishing house. Even with a few female leads, my books were too Catholic, too pro-family, too monarchist, and later, too fascist.
Even small, indie publishers back away with a rictus and their hands up. I am hated by the world. Good.Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.
