     and she got to digging, like she always does. She's always really eager to pry into my past, because she feels insecure comparing herself to all the exes (she handily outperforms them on every front but can't shake that "inexperienced" worry)

     I slipped up and said something to the effect that I stole her from a similarly aged guy, and she got hurt from the thought that I even hypothetically considered her someone else's
