   on two or three occasions and this was back in 2015 to 17 mind you, I had Boeing bros and broettes at DC happy hours tell me not to get on a Boeing plane for my life. I think about this a lot.

     The decline started with Condit (1996-2003)
     He oversaw the disastrous merger with McDonnell Douglas and began the process of moving Boeing leadership out of the Northwest
     Tellingly, he was the last engineer to lead the company
     From then on it was a parade of corporate financial vultures
