I don't want to destroy all that fun millennial relationship memery, there's some crazy stuff in there, but it's not really something I want to dig up w/ her around. She's already a little insecure all the time, she'd sulk for a week if she saw her competition "outdoing" her. Because by girl standards, dressing cute, being popular, "hot girls" that leave lunchbox notes and love letters in your pockets are what guys dream about (it's not)

     She still doesn't believe me when I say having someone around who adds no additional stress and nothing but a good comfy time is great, she's always going to be the uncool nerdy sister outshined by the older kids and their popular, successful lives

     @givenup I know, we ended up in a VERY weird situation. From the start it wasn't a real relationship move, supposed to be a roommates thing and she'd end up being a nanny/housesitter of sorts while I left for work. She moved out like, a month before lockdown?

     I suspect those safeguards are all still there in her head. But she's not the crafty type. If she had a room I suspect it would be similar to those cheesy onlyfans weeb chicks with garish pink anime slop all over the walls, with old clothes and filth luttering every surface.

I was doing that with this place because I thought I'd be here temporarily, left all my stuff in storage so one bed was a fold out couch and the other an air mattress.      @WashedOutGundamPilot I'll have to look for it the base plans but a fun woodworking project I did with my grandpa a few years back was a false bottom free hanging shelf. there's a key card in a trinket on the shelf that when waved over a specific part unlocks and allows you to pull down the false bottom. I keep a kel-tec sub2000 inside of it with an extra mag.
