     @SuperSnekFriend conquering Constantinopel is easier than mending the Schism. We're not even talking about the Reformation yet, just the Schism between the Catholic and the Orthodox church. I tell you this Snekfren, it will be easier to convert every single Mudslimes, Pajeets, Gooks etc to Christianity than talking to each side about mending the Schism.

     @RehnSturm256 @MK2boogaloo The Great Schism of 1054, when Eastern church got tired of Rome and the pope (Leo IX at the time) proclaiming himself the sole and ultimate bishop over the entire visible Church of Christ. This is the full start of Roman Catholicism as Roman Catholicism and the start of the Eastern Orthodox churches.

Only one still stand as the bastion of Christendom, the other fell into the hand of the unbelievers a long time ago.

     @MK2boogaloo It was bit of a tongue-in-check joke because of how innocuous the Filoque issue is. You know what I believe about Rome and to a far lesser extent Eastern churches and why the two reconciling is not going to truly be beneficial for the body of Christ on Earth.

     @nugger @SuperSnekFriend @RehnSturm256 there is, I see the Orthodox as the most persecuted church to ever exist. Not only the Eastern Orthodox, but also Armenian Orthodox, the Miaphysites etc. It's surprising how they're still alive after centuries of persecution, it's as if something is keeping the flame alive even under the storm.
     
     On the other hand, the Catholic church enjoyed some sort of superiority throughout history. Although never gaining any total victory, she gained some minor victories that bought enough time for it to grow even larger. Like the conquest of America and Counter-Reformation.
