   @coolboymew You know how we solve this shit in Europe? They are secured with a chain and you need to unlock them by inserting a coin, which you get back once you return the cart. Why is this not a thing in America? Seems like a good solution when you have so many anti-social niggers around.

     @bleedingphoenix @jetzkrieg @coolboymew my uncle is retired and financially comfortable but he's a poor country boy at heart so sometimes when it's raining he'll sit in his truck at aldi and offer to return people's carts to get their quarters

     @deprecated_ii @bleedingphoenix @jetzkrieg @coolboymew Growing up without abundance imprints on you. I have tools and clothes that are more decades old than I'm willing to admit - and they are still in near perfect condition.
     
     The other day a friend wondered "why do you have covers on everything"? Because I prefer the dogs scratch up the cheap blanket and not the more expensive sofa.

     If I were a kid near our local aldi, I could probably make $10 a day getting quarters out of the carts that aren't returned
