In other news, @Moon's server migration has a peculiar side effect. You cannot fetch *any* posts from there whether you have signed fetches enabled or not. All posts you can see on other instances are those that were sent directly to their inboxes. He has essentially turned his whole userbase into permanent lockfags, and knowing him, I won't be surprised if that was his plan all along. @dcc@colonelj No it doesn't, the only two users from shitposter.world that have posts on anni are those that have migrated and got follows on your side.
@dcc@colonelj Because it's from mangeurdenuage, who either has followers on your side or made the post before moon locked down the access to activities.
@sneeden@mint@Moon it seems like it started trying to federate with everyone all at once and the software is shitting itself. clogged oban queues etc etc
we need to inject :cp: directly into spc's (spw's) DB so the feds magically make it federate to the rest of us, its the only way
@pernia@sneeden@Moon What do you think I'm doing right now? It's a fucking silo and I still can't get it to fetch the needed actor. Last time something similar happened (on goreslut.xyz), I managed to get it working first try; now I'm inclined to believe moony did, in fact, modify something to prevent SPW from federating properly.
@mint@pernia@sneeden I'm inclined this a major fuck up when modifying Pleroma source (maybe deliberate) or the server has full queues (I don't really believe that because the site loads fine and post are sent for other instances). I tried manually fetching objects and users from iex, fetching posts via the search, ostatus_subscribe (this one just returns an empty page and no errors in logs). I give up and don't care.
And since his repo in Pleroma git is dead and the instance version points to non-existent commits in Pleroma's main repo, I can't check anything.
