     @sjw every time I look at these they're still the same 6-cores they were 5 years ago, and with the speeds so close to the older ones I'm not tempted enough to make the jump

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @sjw They reached the limits with clock speeds 20 years ago. Now all they know how to do is process shrinks and adding more cores and cache. I only upgraded to a new system last year because I was running into driver support issues for my video card and figured if I'm getting a new card, might as well refresh the rest of the system.

     @john_rando @sjw I was wondering if an upgrade would help, but when I looked I saw pretty much the same thing I'm running now, clock speeds the same, core count the same, just a few hundred dollars and a 5- instead of a 3 prefix
