   the ancient romans would bring portable grills and ovens to the Colosseum so they could grill and bake flat breads with cheese while watching horse races, chariot races, fights, naval fights, theatre plays, olympic games and concerts, they could even buy cheese and meat ready to grill in place.

     @Paultron @EdBoatConnoisseur yeah IDK anything about dumplings, uncooked dough in rat meat always ended up down the list of things to eat whenever it's available

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @EdBoatConnoisseur they're easy to make and they freeze real well. they're on of my occasional weekend chores where i'll make 4 or 5 meals worth and spread em out for weeknight convenience

     @MuscleOrc1221 @Paultron @EdBoatConnoisseur I guess the archetype is "street food, handheld dough wrapping up mystery meat", because I still haven't grabbed those indian versions either.

     I've had plenty of chances to eat dumplings, but every time they're on the table I choose to fill up on meat.
