   @FreeinTX @Wormwood $50 an hour parking (I joke, I think).
   No trash, but you know what else you don't see: trash cans. It's been decades since I've been to Japan, but the story I always tell people is of the one public trash can in the smallish city I was in and how it was beyond full, and how many residents crammed their trash into crevices in the wall behind the can rather than just dropping it on the ground ("an effort was made"). It made for like some weird, trash modern art.
   
   Also, there's homeless people there, though maybe not in that city specifically, but like I tell people too: I'd rather be homeless in Tokyo than live in a ghetto house in Detroit.
