@TURBORETARD9000 @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @RehnSturm256 we always "borrowed" from our rent money for food, grocery shopping happened on the second paycheck of the month and we'd set aside less than half rent to afford a 20 pound bag of basmati, a 12 pack of canned peas, 3 4 packs of campbells cream of chicken, and a big bag of kidney beans
Day 1: Kidney beans, rice, peas
Day 2: kidney beans, rice, chicken soup
repeat until both of us had stable jobs

Sure that's probably a more logical sacrifice, but there's lots of logical sacrifices one COULD make, and a lot of pressure to make them quick, otherwise the food money becomes rent money and you don't eat at all...
