Sleepily bought a gas station salad that was almost entirely rust-colored in all the greens. Then when I opened it up I discovered with a chuckle that american salads are still just using the pretext of lettuce as a conveyance for bacon, croutons, chicken, and dressing so in the end it didn’t matter

Oh BTW my distaste for women has climbed, but I can’t talk about the goings-on without a time shift so I’ll update you later

Wasted all her time, panicked, and then asked daddy for a job, if I had to guess. She accidentally let slip when she said “oh I only got into the industry in 2021, I was so tired being stuck in lockdown working remote so I came over here instead”
And then kind of stumbled as if she’d outed herself as having little business being where she is now. I have to assume it was a personal connection, she comes from some kind of money, has that colorado princess style with the $500 slim down jacket and yoga pant brand accessories
I don’t trust her. But I’m answering to her while I’m working this one so I just gotta suck it up and salute

Leading my dad to work overtime to fix her mistakes and refocus the project per the client’s demands.
Then she moves on after a few headaches.

Oh cool, I’m sure she’s VERY familiar with overseeing things to make sure the fleet stays up to date with all the regulations, I’m sure there isn’t a series of ticking paper-bombs riddling these airframes
It’s just a few days though and then we’ll part ways never to work together again (hopefully)

Worse, my company is filled with boomer simps who go out of their way to overvalue the word of ladies, so even if I say “yeah man, she’s alright but she’s not a very good pilot, she took issue with my flying because it wasn’t the same as hers (I.E. better)” then they’ll assume I’m being an asshurt baby trying to save face.
So I’ll do it her way, lie to her face and say “boy I’m really learning a lot, I never thought of that before!” and drag all those files to the recycle bin when this trip is done.

I tried softly telling her a few times why I do things the way I do them - even when it’s literally in the manual for this thing she’s defaulting to whatever training she got in the first place. Her company’s paying the bills though, so I got to please. If she were with us I’d be able to be a little more forceful and bring it up with the rest, where we’d end up duking out our differences on the basis of how correct they are.
But she’s basically the client. Not my plane, not my problem.

This approach will make everything worse for everyone. Boomers have likely already built her up to think she's better than she is. This is becoming more common. -
Twoinchdestroya (twoinchdestroya@poa.st)'s status on Monday, 13-Feb-2023 04:58:44 JST Twoinchdestroya @WashedOutGundamPilot @Quentel @RupertvonRipp Pretty much, gotta listen to the paycheck.
I had a boomer manager who took over a project without knowing anything and started demanding a lot. He wanted me to tell manufacturing to go against the FDA so we can save money, and my Jew boss was being convinced. I had to tell both of them that was illegal and no one would do it, but they wouldn’t listen to me.
We were only saved when I tattled on them to quality and they got an earful.

It’s just little things like planning the flights and the finer points of flying. She’s trying to backseat fly because the way I’m driving doesn’t match her methods (someone with a fraction of my experience level).
All the stuff I do is done for a reason, I’m adding extra buffer where I can, planning for things to fall apart. I don’t trust the plane, so I’m flying like it’s gonna fail at any moment. Maybe that’s just what happens with experience, you see shit break so you start planning for it breaking, while new kids go by the “school method”
