   Another new encounter! This is Stoneman (no relation to the Mega Man 5 robot master, though his design is similar enough to Toriyama's Golem that I have to wonder if MM5's Stone Man was meant to be a tribute of some kind).
   
   Stonemen are the direct upgrade of the Golem and they can hit HARD... even with the best gear, it's probably wise to run from these guys like with the Blue Dragons. We'll be ready for them eventually (it's a matter of doing enough damage fast enough and being consistent about it).

     Once you get to the fourth basement floor, pay close attention to the stairways - starting from the stairs you entered from, there's only one other flight of stars that goes up. Take that stairway, and follow the path from there... it's really straightforward as long you take the correct stairway (going any farther down at this point equals death at our level).
     
     Once you get to that confined space in the second basement, open the box to get the best sword in the entire game (one of the most respected weapons in the series' lore) - we're officially set to use the new monsters we've encountered as EXP grinding fodder.
