So my real estate broker recommended a guy for the mortgage rate and I'm able to get a rather low 4.99%
Spent two fucking hours filling papers online though, oof
But man, that's a good fixed rate, much better than 5.5 or the 6.9 variable right now, saved me a few hundos
And checking my pay stubs, I get a few hundreds more than I thought
Also, it's pay raise time soon
I'm... I'm good I think
-
@coolboymew Hell yeah.
-
@ForbiddenDreamer that's fucking good and among some of the lowest fixed rate I'm able to find, so I'm pretty satisfied with that. The few hundos saved will pay for electricity, insurance and all that crap
-
@ForbiddenDreamer I got it before they even checked that
They didn't even ask for the goddamn score, I don't know if they have the means to check, but I'm extremely solvable with 0 debt otherwise
-
@coolboymew That's dammed good, at least compared to what my bank is offering, and I'm assuming the listed rates are based on having a perfect credit score etc.
-
@Nimbius666 @ForbiddenDreamer We'll see soon
But lame cuckshed apartments are 1000$ here now, 4 1/2 that are even that nice to nice-ish ones are around 1500$ now
With the downpayment I put I almost bring it down to that level
It sure it better than having a landlord, annoying neighbors and etc
-
@coolboymew @ForbiddenDreamer is home ownership worth it? I might have to do it soon
-
@coolboymew 3rd week of April is my anniversary date in my job, so I'll get a pay bump, then that same week everyone in ny company in my position will get a 6% yearly cola raise
-
@Kookee2k2 wow, very nice
-
@coolboymew yeah, we're talking about somewhere in the $3~4 range
