     @coolboymew I've already done a max level run of this version once before, though the stat growth was different that time around (naming your character "Asshole" causes the game to favor Strength and Max HP. The implications of that are... humorous).

     @daphailwhale ah, already done then. I believe on the NES you become viable to beat the Demon Lord around level 23 or something?. There's speedrunners tricks for lower than that, but yeah

     @coolboymew I'm not even close to being at the DragonLord yet (haven't opened the route to Charlock Castle) - I can barely survive battling a Green Dragon, I don't think I have much of a prayer at Hauksness or the road to Cantlin.

     @coolboymew I have the best equipment I can buy at the moment - the next step up for armor is Erdrick's Armor, and that's in Hauksness. Everything else has to be bought in Cantlin (except Erdrick's Sword, which is in... Charlock Castle).
