      @coolboymew xfce has magnification on by default, alt+mwheel, but it's for the whole screen.
      If the vn is in fullscreen (I am assuming not), wine virtual desktop could probably force it to play nice.

      @coolboymew Must be an XFCE4 thing.

      It acts kinda like Windows magnifier but more seamless. Would really only work if your VN has pure keyboard controls, unless there's a way to set it to not follow the cursor.
