>Check for electric kettles with adjustable temp for tea
>Chinese brands ahoy
>Loads of 1 star reviews even on the non-Chinese ones, like it leaks and other ridiculous shit that shouldn't happen
>Chinese ones rust and possibly has exposed silicon
Jesus fucking christ

@coolboymew My fam and I had one of these kettles where you could adjust the temp, they're great until the planned obsolescence of the electronics kicks in.
Now I just want a simple stainless steel kettle I can put on a camp fire if needed.
-
@coolboymew just boil 1L of water water and wait X seconds like us non-snobs
-
@coolboymew just use (gas) stove and own the libs :hifumitea:
-
@coolboymew chinese ones probably leech toxic chemicals too
-
@meso I hate Chinese electronics so much
>Check for stationary bikes
>It's all subscription garbage
>Or obvious Chinese crap
Urrrggggghhhh
-
@why yeah, but when it comes to Chinese specific noname brand, the quality of electronics is usually very bad. Then again the quality of everything is very bad lately
-
@coolboymew everything is made in china for these sorts of things. i have no qualms about my fellow stagg rusting or leaking despite being made in china
-
@why The issue is that they all seem to suck
Even the 100$ Ninja electric Kettle apparently fucking leaks in some cases, and apparently their customer service will illegally ask you to pay up for warranty according to the reviews
-
@coolboymew yeah i would apply "get what you pay for" strongly to appliances that heat up
