@Kyonko802 It's always locking something behind Patreon to financially benefit from (even if the intent is to support development) that gets these emulators and fan developers. I still think it's irritating on Nintendo's part, but I guess Ryujinx remains king... by default.

@Kyonko802 Yuzu was retarded for poking the bear. While emulation is good and necessary for game preservation, especially in the era of woke Bowlderization, running around going "nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah" with your pirated copy of Tears Of The Kingdom prior to the game even being out was always only going to end badly.

@Kyonko802 >selling ToTK files before it was out
Thanks for helping me understand why the judgement came so quickly and fiercely. I'm just to going to laugh at Dicksore retards (practically all users) now.

@ArdainianRight @Kyonko802 I was thinking dolphin was going to be taken to the cleaners first, but here we are.

@KnifeEar @Kyonko802
As stupid as trying to put Dolphin on Steam was, a Gamecube emulator isn't going to take priority over people emulating your current console to pirate brand-new games, and especially if Yuzu gets caught red-handed paywalling TOTK-specific patches.
-
@ArdainianRight @KnifeEar @Kyonko802 Nintendo has also been pitifully slow to actually monetize their own GameCube games on the Switch.

@ChristiJunior @KnifeEar @Kyonko802
A dual release of WWHD and TPHD could very easily outsell what those games sold initially.
-
So you’re saying I should think about switching?
-
@ducky I mean, if Yuzu is still working and you have no need to switch, you don't have to. Ryujinx is still alive so at least in the near future it will support newer games.
I have both installed just for testing and messing around with emulator software.

@ArdainianRight @Kyonko802 good thing yuzu decided to settle instead of letting it go to court and setting preceedent against emulation in future case law
