@Impaler@Kirby I do a short 15min set of exercises (I don't think it qualifies as a workout) in the morning before work with my kiddo. Usually he just tries to make it as difficult as possible by climbing on me while I'm trying to do push-ups and stuff, but he started mimicking this yoga breathing/stretching thing I do to start and it's super cute.
Modest core exercises can help preserve your back. It took me years of stubbornness to do more core exercises.
I like the standing variety of ab workouts because you don't have to break out a mat or get sleepy lying down between sets. I do them sometimes while waiting for the kids to get ready for bed or while coffee is brewing. https://www.wellandgood.com/standing-ab-exercises/
In the continuing series of “I’m getting old” I caught my toe on the corner of the dishwasher door stepping over it like three days ago. I twisted to keep from falling and tweaked my back. It still hurts. :anya_why:
