   @NekoEd @koko I do most of my DOS development in emulators which are obviously easier to work with, but when I needed to do it on hardware, I set up mTCP to download a new version of the code on boot, and I'd test new code by just hitting ctrl-alt-delete.
   It's easy to set up a basic web server with python, since you can just do a one-liner for it.

     @foone @NekoEd @koko Wow, thanks for this. I have a feeling the 486DX will be getting a 3C509 shoved inside.
     I was debating whether to use Laplink but this (likely shoving it on a walled-off VLAN) seems much easier.

     @philpem @NekoEd @koko yeah it's much easier in my experience. faster too.

     I didn't even bother with a VLAN because of how the way it works, realistically nothing is going to be able to hack an MSDOS machine
