     @yockeypuck >As a feminist, I'm a big of Leni Riefenstahl and how she paved the way for female directors. Olympia's intro was a little too long for my taste. But when Triumph des Willens came out in 1935, I think she really came into her own, commercially and artistically. The whole movie has a clear, crisp vision, and a new sheen of consummate idealism...that really gave Hitler a big boost.
