     @mnemonicoverload Yes, it uses its own DOS. If you have stacks of public domain or cracked disks it can be dreamy. What a lot of folks did, though, was use tools that included "keys" that would allow certain AAA titles to be copied. But in terms of *using* certain disks you're absolutely right. This thing (IMO) was more of a pirate's dream.

     I used to have the single drive version of this at one point (SD-1?) and while the build quality was impressive it not being 100% 1541 compatible was a bit of a let down. It worked fine as a second drive though, for the most part.

     @amigalove Nice! I too would have loved one of these when I was younger. I have one now and it needs to be recapped. I just don't have the time so I'm hoping I can sell it to someone who will cherish it.
