   @Vril_Oreilly When I was down there I found a LOT more US interest in the area than I'd expected. The american glo-nigs really had a boner for finding TERRORISM®, with this silly mentality that they had a quiet hotbed of distinctly islamic activity they just couldn't find inroads into. I was pretty sure I knew more than a few of them down there on an easy assignment, often chunky guys with good government resumes who couldn't quite articulate what they were supposed to be doing down there....but they're always keenly attuned to gossip.

   In one town there was a guy offering a couple hundred bucks for tips on "Al Qaeda", despite the fact they were half a world away. Maybe they're scaling up to put more pressure down south. Always seemed to me it was the cushy job for the obese zogbot desk jockeys waiting out retirement

     There's some kind of American gayop going on in Uruguay right now.

     >fast forward and now the US Southern Command is trying to open a military base in Uruguay and offering help with the drug trafficking problem
     Uruguay is the Whitest country outside of Europe and was previously one of the safest countries in the Americas. now it has a higher murder rate than the US.
