     @Dan_Hulson @Fash-E Hard to choose but I'd have to go with Rudolf Hess as my #1, even after being subjected to 45 years of absolutely undignified / dehumanizing mental & physical torture in solitary confinement he refused to renounce his loyalty to Hitler.
     
     They even offered him a high ranking position in the East German Government in exchange for freedom, which he refused outright.
     
     To say that his life was one of great tragedy would be an understatement.

     @Dan_Hulson @Fash-E I've read many the great tragedies of the ancient world & none of them hold a candle to the story of Rudolph Hess.
