The last 4 battles of the Napoleonic Wars. Had the English and Prussian armies been defeated, the British would have been forced to make peace, starving the Austrians and Spanish forces of the nessecary aid to face Napoleon in turn. Russia would not have had the strength then to invade the resurgent Napoleonic Empire and history would have been totally altered.

@givenup NO, the Eastern Roman Empire was restored by Ivan the Great marrying Sophia Palaiologina and creating the Caesardom of Russia, Moscow was a third Rome, founded on seven hills and the seat of a great Eastern Roman empire. As for the West, it was first revived by the Franks, then revived by the Germans, then survived in the HRE until Napoleon, then it existed in France again, until the fall of Napoleon III when it passed back to the Germans and only fell most recently in 1945.
