     @PeteHall @mozilla @didek that's definitely been a problem with the fedi already. People join and wind up in very ban happy instances because the theme looks good without reading the tos and think "if I don't say anything edgy or racist I won't get banned" and the next thing you know they're being banned for some dumb reason with no way to appeal and swear they'll never touch "the mastodon network" again.
     
     It's been compared to resetera, one of the most ban happy websites to the point just commenting on posts is considered "drive by trolling"; a bannable offense. And don't get me started on Blocklist abuse.
