     @swurl if it even lets you wipe it without
     
     If it doesn't, you have to force it via a Mac or iTunes via emergency menu, which it will force you to update
     
     And it will still be account locked

     @coolboymew@shitposter.club you need the password of the last groogle account on there in order to finish setup, I think that's only the case if you factory reset through button combos tho

     it's to prevent theft or something but anyone with a modicum of skill can bypass it so idk the point

     @coolboymew @swurl essentially the only iCloud devices that can be bypassed are pre iPhone X devices (the x was the last one) and this is because it checks apple servers (this goes back to the iPhone 2g and activation tickets).
     
     Meanwhile so many android phones have frp bypasses because the frp lock is on the phone itself, be it opening apps in a specific order or using tools.

     @coolboymew @swurl also this picture was posted all the time before checkra1n came out because a lot of people wanting to bypass icloud were also petty criminals, bonus points if they were protesting a police shooting and looted an apple store.
