   No Agenda runs a mantra of "all media is propaganda"... far too oversimplified.

   From different news outlets around the world.... and even alt. sources.... you csn have a pinch of propaganda to almost all propaganda.

   Not all sources contain the same level in any way.

     @useless_idiot @SiRrogueKnight I think the problem is that most outlets just parrot the main stream topics, even if they come to their own opinions on the issues. At the end of the day if the main stream is pushing a narrative, and part of that narrative is simply "hey look over here", and the smaller outlets are drawing your attention to the distraction, they serve the purpose of keeping people's attention on the thing the main stream wants in focus anyway.
     
     It's kind of like how people leave birbsite and come over here only to post screenshots of birbsite.
     
     Anything meant to spread an idea is technically propaganda, and that includes the idea that all media is propaganda so yeah NA is a form of propaganda. I think when most people call something propaganda they mean it's pushing a false or bad idea.

     No Agenda doesn’t consider media that share their narrative as propaganda!

     (I think it’s just very hard to figure out what really happened, and so is the job of a honest journalist. Also, free information has to be paid for somehow. )

     I heard the word “propaganda” used as a neutral term for TV advertising in a Spanish speaking country. Don’t remember which one.

     Most media live by advertising, and the ones that are “free” are paid for by someone pushing his own interests. And yeah, they tend to copy each other unfortunately very uncritically.
