@deadheat
The AI claim is already in doubt as one of the people faked their accusation.
But even if it was AI it really doesn't matter because most artists are hacks that can't make something successful on their own.
Sure there's a moral argument of having real people lose work, so that's why all these people complaining bought digimon and yokai watch and made them successful, right? Lol no, these properties are in the gutter now and are probably more unique in their designs than Palworld.
Suddenly robots can do art now everyone is worried and accusing people of using AI. They clearly didn't care about the poor human artists and their works before the robots took over. :backfromgab:

@zemichi and the context is that he was talking with someone about if there was AI used in Palworld, right? So what he means in context is that if random artists on Twitter think people shouldn't play Palworld that doesn't matter, which is just common sense.

@zemichi >they don't "like" AI because they can draw better without AI
gacha artists are truly on another level

@deadheat
"Draw better" isn't correct, they see it as a shortcut/stolen valor thing.
In Blue Archive people meme about the designers having meetings over some character flabby belly and how it is important. The truth is that it is important, because they're selling characters. So I can assure you that even though they probably haven't said it they've probably went over every characters selling/charm point and debated on how the audience would react to it. When you take a look at how artists react to whenever a blue archive character gets released take note of what they focus on and you find that they end up drawing like three specific points or ideas of that character. This is why Blue Archive has such a large online presence and success and it's partially due to artistic decisions.
You can't get this nuance with AI, you can have the AI generate a general concept but the interesting parts are something that a person has to filter though. AI feeds into people being lazy and not caring about what they're making. :back_from_gab:

@deadheat several of the gacha artists don't like AI. Hyung-tae Kim (Nikke artist also runs/heads the company I think) has tested workflow with AI. Blue Archive is seeking text AI for character interactions. It's a mixed bag on public support.
But as I said in my art AI thread, people are using it behind the scenes most certainly. As my tests have shown you can do a lot with AI, give a good artist the tool and tricks and they could probably make something I couldn't think of.

@zemichi "artists" by the way, aka faggots on social media who can only offer shit opinions about politics to the world rather than artistic talent, show me the guy who draws gacha girls for Azur Lane worried about AI if you want me to believe professional artists who shouldn't lose work are actually worried about AI
