     @rosey @SuperDicq As far as I'm aware, Cromartie is a complete rewrite, that's a whole other category

     @rosey @SuperDicq don't agree. Japanese > English translation already allows you to rephrase things nicely most of the time
     
     The actual issue is terrible VA work and severe nonsense rewriting
     
     There's also the problem that it's been 30+ years and there's still no real solution to Japanese speech gimmicks which are usually entirely lost when translated

     @coolboymew@shitposter.club @SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo it's probably an unpopular opinion but i think dubs need to be rewritten a bit, if they're too literal it's going to sound awkward
