     @MK2boogaloo @kirby @mima it's a discord alternative exactly because it allows you to vc, to fully replace discord you'd need to combine it with something like xmpp or m*trix if you need group chats and shit

     If I'm going for vc-only in groups I'd rather be using something a bit more modern and conference-focused like Jitsi tbh, but that's just me :cirnoShrug:

     @lina@eientei.org Yeah exactly, people seem to know more of Discord for its voice/video, not the text chat.
     
     Though I personally use it exclusively for text chat lol. Never spoke through any VC there
