Damn the hyped up chapter turned out to be disappointing. "Touhou is now Dragon Ball"? More like ZUN just rehashed the TH17 gimmick into something more generalistic of vengeful spirits instead of animal-specific lol.

But maybe the next chapter is going to be more interesting, since the walmart mima is now going to monologue (finally) about her backstory. Or maybe nothing ever happens again. Oh well :mima_shrug:

Yes, this means my website has also moved to yakumo.dev.. I've updated my Misskey profile to reflect this.

And yes this also means the future of #Makai as a #Misskey instance is not yet certain beyond March 2025 (which is why I published that announcement reminding users here to backup).. Neither I nor @yakumo_izuru@misskey.m544.net really own the domain (that one goes to @czar@society.kalli.st), so if we don't get the renewal for chaotic.ninja (costing 35 euros) done by at least February (I would want at least a month worth of time for everyone to migrate if it comes to that), I will be forced to close down this server due to how fediverse software works (it doesn't allow cleanly migrating everything over a new domain name). Maybe I will spin up another Misskey under yakumo.dev, but by then it's pretty much a new server from scratch. :seija_coffee:

- It's us! Intended for Touhou and PC-98 fans. Moderation and maintenance managed by me, DNS managed by @yakumo_izuru@misskey.m544.net, VPS hosted by @czar@society.kalli.st (all three of us + @nishi@hkgk.nishi.boats do sysadmin stuff for all of chaotic.ninja)
- Vanilla Misskey (quote posts and custom emote reactions supported! 3000 character limit)
- Invite-only (hit me up for invite either here in fedi, xmpp, or bsky, or postmaster@chaotic.ninja)
- Moderation is balanced

Sakurajima (.moe & .social):
- Generalistic instance for fans of Japanese media and culture. There is a modteam
- Uses both a forked version of Mastodon (Glitch) and Misskey (Sharkey). Both of them support custom emote reactions and quote posts, and have 3000 character limit for posts
- Open registrations
- Strict moderation

Gensokyo.social:
- Probably the oldest running Mastodon server for Touhou fans. Owned by a single person
- Vanilla Mastodon (only 500 characters per post, no quote posts or reactions)
- Invite-only (can get invite in their discord)
- Strict moderation

Udongein.xyz:
- It's Reisen! Owned by duponin, but moderation is now mostly handled by Meko. Praise Naiji
- Pleroma (quote posts and custom emote reactions supported! 10000 character limit)
- Closed for registrations (though since there's a new admin now maybe you could try asking in their Matrix. No guarantees though, I tried and I didn't get an account :mima_derp:)
- Moderation is balanced
