     It's a fucking scam. I just download podcasts/shows for 2x the flight duration at this point and accept that I'm going to be offline for that time.

     the inflight Wi-Fi literally never works for me for some reason - I’ve even paid the like $5 or whatever and it never seems to connect

     You can get in-flight wifi. I've tried using my data inflight and I rarely get a connection unless we just took off or are coming in for landing.
